Vanilla Bean Powder gives an alternative to the extract. I bought it simply because I want the vanilla flavor without the alcohol. It is very expensive and I fear spilling the little bag it came in. Wished it was in a glass bottle for purchase only because the bag is like a magnet and powder sticks to the bag and the seal creating valuable loss and difficulty reclosing the zipper.
