OliveNation Tongan vanilla beans are grown and harvested on the South Pacific island archipelago of Tonga, which gives them a unique flavor and aroma that is prized by chefs around the world. These plump, oily pods have a deep and bold taste with both floral and fruity undertones. Our whole Tongan vanilla beans are ideal for use in both sweet and savory dishes, as their unique flavor profile stands up well to other strong flavors. This bold-flavored variety is great for use in creamy desserts, chocolates, fruit tarts and pies, and homemade extracts. These dried Grade A Tongan vanilla beans are popular with chocolatiers because the deep notes of red wine, cherry, and fig add a rich taste to truffles and caramel-based desserts. These pods combine sweet, deep flavor with an intense aroma, making them perfect for flavoring custard and ice cream. They also work well for adding sweet, deep flavor to savory or sweet sauces. Ranging from 7.25 to 8 inches in length, our Tongan vanilla bean pods are our largest variety. Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and heat for up to 3 years.

These beans are wonderful. They smell great, good size. 10 beans weighed 1.3 oz. I feel like they are a bit expensive, but I needed them to add to my collection. I will make extract with them and can’t wait to try it when it’s done. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing smell, great oils, quality and a must to have in your extract collection. I will buy more soon! Thank you

Great quality beans, very large. I made vanilla extract and it smells sweet, like a cookie. The beans were plump and oily, so would be good for vanilla sugar, too.
